I have developed psoriasis since starting on infliximab Aug 09, which is getting worse.Sad
The hospital team have suggested changing to either Enbrel or Rituximab – and sent me away with info. I’ve read it all but still feel unsure about a change. Should I just put up with the (unsightly and itchy) skin trouble?
The infliximab has been fantastic and very effective. I am very nervous about changing in case the new treatment doesn’t work as well.
I really really don’t want to go back to how I felt pre-infliximab.Scared
I think I’ve heard (but not from the hospital or in the literature!) that Rituximab is not very effective for sero-negative patients? I fall into this category.
Has anyone else had to make this choice?
Can anyone help and send me a link where I can get more complete info about the drug alternatives rather than the leaflets, which don’t seem to state any negative things.
I know someone on here will have experience?!

Thanks
Beth
